About BicepCalc

BicepCalc is an independent collection of free strength and fitness calculators. The goal is simple: give lifters and everyday gym-goers fast, transparent tools for the numbers that come up in training — estimated one-rep max, daily calories and macros, BMI, body fat, and strength benchmarks — without sign-ups, paywalls, or a wall of pop-ups.

How the calculators work

Every calculator on this site is built on an established, published formula rather than something we invented. We show you which formula each tool uses (for example, the Mifflin-St Jeor equation for metabolic rate, or the U.S. Navy circumference method for body fat) and link to the original source or authority where one exists, so you can verify the math yourself. Each calculator page also explains how the formula works, walks through an example, and is honest about where the formula is accurate and where it isn't.

Accuracy and honesty

These are estimation tools, and we treat them that way. Fitness formulas produce approximations that vary with genetics, measurement technique, training, and nutrition. We don't dress up estimates as precise medical readings, and every tool carries the same reminder: the results are educational, not medical, fitness, or nutritional advice. For anything that matters to your health, talk to a qualified professional — a physician, registered dietitian, or certified trainer.

Your privacy

The calculators run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type — your weight, age, measurements — are never sent to our servers, stored, or shared. There's no account, and there's nothing for us to leak. You can read the full details in our Privacy Policy.

Who's behind it

BicepCalc is built and maintained independently by a software developer and long-time strength-training enthusiast. It started as a personal set of tools for answering everyday training questions and grew into a public site. It isn't affiliated with any gym, supplement company, or medical organization — which is also why the only thing it ever tries to sell you is nothing.
